CHALKING THE ROCKIES- BOULDER COUNTY CHALK4PEACE

Boulder, Colorado has long known the wisdom of teaching their
children about PEACE. Tim Benko took this photograph of the
event at the Boulder Public Library in 2006.

MOTHERS ACTING UP celebrated International Day of Peace '07
with a chalking on Pearl Street in front of the Daily Camera
Newspaper building. A watchdog organization for the rights
of the children of the world, MOTHERS also assisted with the
delivery of promo materials to our SOS School friends in the
West Bank. photo: Mothers Acting Up

The Unicorn Girls at Superior Elementary School, Superior,
swept down onto the playground and drew their vision in the
permanent peace symbol that Michael Wojczuk, Artist and Arts
Specialist, created for their annual event! What a tremendous show of teamwork! photo: Mike Wojczuk

CHALK and CHOCOLATE 2008 Berkeley, California

Imad Obegi took this photo of John Aaron finishing up
his CHOCOLATE 4 PEACE drawing at CHALK and CHOCOLATE
May 31 in Berkeley. The sidewalks became glittering
paths of color; and the scrumptious chocolate treats
offered by the local restaurants in the Gourmet Ghetto
were quite memorable. Must have been six city blocks of chalk!
Nice work, Lisa Bullwinkle!
